Never used for training

Self-destruct mode (Pro)
When enabled, contract and report are hard-deleted 10 minutes after you close the tab. We can't recover them either.
Database-level isolation (RLS)
Supabase Row Level Security enforces per-user isolation at the database layer. Not application logic. Database-native.
End-to-end encryption
TLS 1.3 in transit. AES-256 at rest. pgcrypto on sensitive columns as a second layer.
Engineered to be unreadable
We have no admin endpoint that can read contract plaintext. It's architectural, not a promise.
No third parties

Is this legal advice?
No. ContractCheck is a risk-flagging tool — it helps you spot potentially unfavorable clauses and missing protections. For material decisions, always consult a lawyer. Every report carries this disclaimer.
Will my contracts be used to train AI?
No. Our Anthropic API calls run with Zero Retention enabled. Your contract is wiped from Anthropic's servers immediately after analysis and is never used for model training. It's contractual, not just a policy.
How long are contracts stored? Can I delete them?
Free: 7 days auto-delete. Pro: choose self-destruct (hard-deleted 10 min after closing) or keep up to 90 days. You can one-click delete everything from your account page, including backups within 72 hours.
What contract types are supported?
Freelance/contractor agreements, employment, NDAs, SaaS terms, residential leases, equity/investment docs (SAFE, term sheets), POs — covering about 80% of day-to-day needs. For specialized areas (derivatives, cross-border M&A), don't rely on AI alone.
What file formats are supported?
PDF, DOCX, PNG/JPG (OCR), and plain text paste. Up to 100,000 characters per contract.
Why not use Google OCR? Wouldn't it be faster?
Because contracts are highly sensitive business data. We made the call: contracts only go to a single LLM vendor (Anthropic). Adding a third-party OCR or analytics service would expand the risk surface. A slightly slower pipeline is worth it.
